No. 522 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 11:00 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 522, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 522, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated September 29, 2017, <br /> nominates Mr. Jeffrey Coakley to the Hawai`i County North Kohala Community Development <br /> Plan Action Committee. <br /> Ms. Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kim, introduced Mr. Coakley who appeared in <br /> person. Mr. Coakley is employed with the County of Hawai`i as a Sr. Pool Lifeguard and states <br /> that he is a registered Republican. If confirmed, Mr. Coakley will serve a term ending <br /> September 9, 2020. <br /> Several Council Members commented in favor of Mr. Coakley. The vote was then taken with <br /> eight Council Members voting"aye."
