Harano of Council District 7 to the Hawai`i County Salary Commission.
Ms. Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kim, introduced Nelson H. Harano. While in Seattle, he served as a Boy Scout
scoutmaster, Board of Director for the Seattle Buddhist Temple, and Treasurer for the Wisteria View
Housing.
If confirmed, he will serve an unfilled term ending December 31, 2017, and will be eligible for re-
appointment to a full five-year term.
Mr. Harano stated that it would be an honor to serve on the Salary Commission.
