REQUEST: <br /> Prepare County Council submittal authorizing the County of Hawaii Legislative Auditor to enter into a Lease <br /> Agreement for a five (5) year period with an option for an additional five (5) years for lease of space in the <br /> Bank of Hawaii Building. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The County of Hawaii Legislative Auditor's office currently leases space at the Hilo Ironworks Building. The <br /> current lease expires April 30, 2018 and the Legislative Auditor's office desires to move from their temporary <br /> location closer to the majority of other County offices. The office currently utilizes 1,755 sf of office space at <br /> Hilo Ironworks Building and will move into a smaller space of 1,414 sf. at the Bank of Hawaii Building located <br /> at 120 Pauahi Street, tax map key (3) 2-2-011:044.
