WHEREAS, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 46-7, requires that County <br /> departments obtain the consent of the Council to enter into agreements with the <br /> federal or state governments respecting action to be taken pursuant to any of the <br /> powers granted by law to furnish, expend, and receive any funds or other assistance <br /> in connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those powers; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY-THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, in <br /> accordance with section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, that the Mayor of the County <br /> of Hawai`i is authorized to execute; on behalf of the County, an agreement and <br /> related documents with the United States Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development and the State Hawai'i Housing Finance and Development Corporation <br /> for the 2018 CDBG, HOME and HTF funds. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Amended 2015-2019 Consolidated <br /> and 2018 Annual Action Plan is hereby approved and adopted and the Mayor of the <br /> County of Hawai'i or, in his absence, the Acting Mayor or authorized representative is <br /> hereby authorized to executeand submit the Amended 2015-2019 Consolidated and <br /> 2018 Annual Action Plan and all other related documents and agreements necessary <br /> to process the CDBG, HOME and HTF Programs to the United States Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development and State of Hawaii Housing Finance and <br /> Development Corporation. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County shall utilize the CDBG, HOME <br /> and HTF funds in accordance with program rules.and.regulations. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor or his authorized representative <br /> is designated to act as the representative of the County. <br />
