Landowner: Kelly R Jameski/Joanne M. K. Jameski Trust. <br /> STATE AND,COUNTY PLANS <br /> 4. State Land Use Designation: Agricultural. <br /> 5. General Plan Land Use Pattern Allocation Guide (LUPAG) Map: <br /> • For Parcel 33, the General Plan indicates mostly Important Agricultural Lands <br /> with a portion of Low Density Urban and an even smaller portion of Medium <br /> Density Urban. <br /> • For Parcel 34, the General Plan indicates mostly Important Agricultural Lands <br /> and a sliver of Extensive Agriculture. <br /> 6. County Zoning: A-20a (Agricultural district with a minimum building site of twenty <br /> acres). The Agricultural zoning district provides for agricultural and very low density <br /> agriculturally-based residential use, encompassing rural areas of good to marginal <br /> agricultural and grazing land, forest land, game habitats, and areas where urbanization is <br /> not found to be appropriate. <br /> 7. Hilo Community Development Plan (CDP): The Hilo CDP, adopted as Planning <br /> Commission Resolution No. 1 on May 21, 1975, identifies the property for agricultural <br /> use. <br /> 8. Chapter 205A, HRS, Coastal Zone Management Program: The entire State of <br /> Hawai`i lies within the Coastal Zone Management (CZM) area. The intent of the Coastal <br /> Zone Management Program is to guide and regulate public and private uses in the CZM <br /> area with respect to recreational resources, historic resources, public access to shoreline, <br /> scenic and open space resources, coastal ecosystems, marine resources, economic uses, <br /> coastal hazards, managing development, public participation and beach protection. <br /> 9. Special Management Area (SMA): Both subject properties are not situated within the <br /> County's Special Management Area and are located over four(4) miles from the nearest <br /> coastline. <br /> -2- <br />
