Brilhante, Jr., dated May 9, 2018. <br />ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS <br />Res. 616-18: AUTHORIZES A DECREASE IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FUEL TAX FOR <br />FISCAL YEARS 2018-2019 AND 2019-2020 <br />Decreases the fuel tax by 5 cents per gallon for Fiscal Year 2018-2019, bringing it to <br />14 cents per gallon, and by 9 cents per gallon for Fiscal Year 2019-2020, bringing it to <br />14 cents per gallon. Fuel taxes may be used to support the safe and efficient operation <br />of County roads, mass transit, and highway infrastructure. <br />Reference: Comm. 940 <br />Intr. by: Mr. Richards <br />Postponed: May 21, 2018 <br />(Note: There is a motion by Mr. Richards, seconded by Ms. Lee Loy, to <br />recommend adoption of Res. 616-18.) <br />Res. 619-18: AUTHORIZES THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR <br />AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE <br />OF REAL PROPERTY FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br />Authorizes the Mayor to enter into a multi-year lease agreement with an option for two <br />additional five-year terms with the Estate of Ole Eigel Jensen and Elaine Marie Jensen, <br />at a monthly cost of $700 to allow the Traffic Division the continued occupancy of <br />parking and storage space located at 81-6394 Hawaii Belt Road, Kealakekua. <br />Reference: Comm. 944 <br />Intr. by: Ms. David (B/R) <br />BILLS FOR ORDINANCES <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Note: B/R, when listed next to the name of an Introducer, signifies that the Council Member has <br />agreed to introduce legislation `By Request" on behalf of the requesting party.
