PUBLIC UTILITIES AND SERVICES 29. Access: Access is from the county owned and maintained Ponahawai Street via shared road and utility easements "RU-3" and "RU-4". The Zoning Map classifies Ponahawai Street as an existing secondary arterial with a right-of-way width of 60 feet. In addition, there is a ten (10) foot no vehicular access planting screen easement along Ponahawai Street. 30. Water: County water is available to the site. The Department of Water Supply(DWS) stated that they do not object to the subject time extension request and that the comments in their November 22, 2017 letter still stand. 31. Wastewater: Condition I of Ordinance No. 07 166 required the applicant to install a wastewater disposal system meeting with the requirements of the Department of Health. 32. Solid Waste: There are no municipal waste collection services in the County. All solid waste generated by the development will require private disposal at the Hilo landfill or other designated landfill sites as required by the County. 33. Essential Utilities and Services: Electricity, cable and telephone services can be made available to the site. County Police, fire and medical services are available to the property in Hilo.
