PUBLIC UTILITIES AND SERVICES <br /> 29. Access: Access is from the county owned and maintained Ponahawai Street via shared <br /> road and utility easements "RU-3" and "RU-4". The Zoning Map classifies Ponahawai <br /> Street as an existing secondary arterial with a right-of-way width of 60 feet. In addition, <br /> there is a ten (10) foot no vehicular access planting screen easement along Ponahawai <br /> Street. <br /> 30. Water: County water is available to the site. The Department of Water Supply(DWS) <br /> stated that they do not object to the subject time extension request and that the comments <br /> in their November 22, 2017 letter still stand. <br /> 31. Wastewater: Condition I of Ordinance No. 07 166 required the applicant to install a <br /> wastewater disposal system meeting with the requirements of the Department of Health. <br /> 32. Solid Waste: There are no municipal waste collection services in the County. All solid <br /> waste generated by the development will require private disposal at the Hilo landfill or <br /> other designated landfill sites as required by the County. <br /> 33. Essential Utilities and Services: Electricity, cable and telephone services can be made <br /> available to the site. County Police, fire and medical services are available to the <br /> property in Hilo. <br /> AGENCY COMMENTS <br /> 34.
