The property is located at 69 Nalani Street, approximately 663 <br /> south of its intersection with Haihai Street, Waiakea Homesteads Pt Series, Waiakea, South Hilo, <br /> Hawai`i. <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the request: <br /> The applicant is requesting a Change of Zone from a Single-Family Residential- <br /> 15,000 square feet(RS-15) to Single-Family Residential-10,000 square feet(RS-10) <br /> zoning district in order to create a two-lot subdivision. Upon approval of the change of <br /> zone, the applicant will apply for subdivision approval immediately and each lot will be a <br /> minimum of 10,000 square feet in size.
