BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Hawaii Fire Department would like to increase its ability to rapidly extricate patients in the most <br /> precarious and technical'crash situations. The ability for rescue personnel to utilize the self-contained, <br /> battery powered eDraulic line of rescue tools will allow them to move quickly and extricate patients swiftly in <br /> the least desirable of situations. <br /> Being that the grant has been awarded, the Department is requesting that the Finance committee be <br /> waived. <br /> - DATE: JAN ;2 a 2019 <br /> Department Head <br />
