REQUEST: <br /> Request a resolution for the County to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the State Department of <br /> Health, Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Division for the purpose of receiving grant funds <br /> to advance the County's work on Complete Streets. This Agreement covers the period of April 1, 2019, to <br /> May 31, 2020. <br /> Please create an ordinance to appropriate funds up to $45,000.00 to revenue account 010.3309.25 and <br /> expense account 010.141.5141.61.104. <br /> Request to waive Committee and for request to be placed on the May 8, 2019, Council meeting agenda. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> Complete Street is a nation-wide program to help local jurisdictions design, build, and operate streets to <br /> enable safe access for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, and transit riders of all ages and <br /> abilities.
