Funds will be used by the Hawaii County Police <br /> Department for the purpose of reimbursement of overtime salary and other related costs incurred <br /> by the Hawaii County Police Department in providing resources to assist in ATF operations. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms <br /> and Explosives to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the <br /> Operating Budget by appropriating this $32,000 grant. <br /> The Police Department requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed <br /> on the August 21, 2019 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
