REQUEST: <br /> Please prepare a resolution to accept and acknowledge a donation of approximately$2100 for travel paid by <br /> the town of Yurihama, Japan, for Executive Assistant Rose Bautista to attend Hawaiian Festival on July 4- <br /> 10, 2019; Ms. Bautista's responsiblities include Sister City Relationships and she formally represented the <br /> Office of the Mayor and the County of Hawaii at this years event. The Town of Yurihama arranged for travel, <br /> meal, and accomodation expenses. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED)• <br /> Over 20 Years have passed since Hawaii County and Yurihama first established our Sister city relationship. <br /> In order to continue to nurture and support this friendship it is important for a Representative from the <br /> Mayor's Office attend their annual Hawaiian Festival.
