• <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII ; �, <br /> ''-��'�/ #- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> �r••: NTMO.:•'� <br /> BILL NO. 99 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 19 99 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 19-22, WHICH <br /> APPROPRIATED CONTRIBUTIONS FROM PRIVATE SOURCES TO <br /> THE COUNTY'S 2018 LAVA DISASTER RELIEF ACCOUNT. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 19-22 appropriated $170,355.00 in funds donated <br /> by private sources into an account titled "2018 Lava Disaster Relief— Private" to allow <br /> the County to expend these donated funds for lava disaster relief recovery efforts. The <br /> purpose of this ordinance is to amend the list of projects to be funded by the revenues <br /> appropriated via Ordinance No. 19-22, as identified in Exhibit A of Ordinance No. 19- <br /> 22. This ordinance exclusively amends the County agency that may expend funds in <br /> the amount of and up to $15,000 for the purposes of"Safety efforts in Leilani Estates". <br /> SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 19-22 is hereby amended by replacing the "Police <br /> Department" with the "Office of the Prosecuting Attorney" as appearing in Exhibit A to <br /> allow the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to expend funds in the amount and up to <br /> $15,000.00 for the purpose of"Safety efforts in Leilani Estates". The revised exhibit is <br /> attached hereto. <br /> SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance or the application <br /> thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect <br /> other provisions or application of the ordinance which can be given effect without the <br /> invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are <br /> declared to be severable. <br />
