COUNTY OF HAWAII
A
19 1 =well] 0 1 1
STATE OF HAWAII
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 19-22 appropriated $170,355.00 in funds donated
by private sources into an account titled "2018 Lava Disaster Relief — Private" to allow
the County to expend these donated funds for lava disaster relief recovery efforts. The
purpose of this ordinance is to amend the list of projects to be funded by the revenues
appropriated via Ordinance No. 19-22, as identified in Exhibit A of Ordinance No. 19-
22. This ordinance exclusively amends the County agency that may expend funds in
the amount of and up to $15,000 for the purposes of "Safety efforts in Leilani Estates".
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 19-22 is hereby amended by replacing the "Police
Department" with the "Office of the Prosecuting Attorney" as appearing in Exhibit A to
allow the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to expend funds in the amount and up to
$15,000.00 for the purpose of "Safety efforts in Leilani Estates". The revised exhibit is
attached hereto.
SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect
other provisions or application of the ordinance which can be given effect without the
invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are
declared to be severable.
