Sako <br />Director <br />Steven A. Hunt <br />Deputy Director <br />Enclosed is a resolution changing the funding source of one federally funded Account <br />Clerk position. In 1985, a position was created through an agreement between the State <br />of Hawaii, Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Workforce Development <br />Division and the Department of Parks & Recreation. Recently, the Department of Parks <br />& Recreation received notification that the funding for this position will cease due to the <br />closure of the Senior Training and Employment Program. The County of Hawaii plans <br />to continue the funding of this position being that it is still a critical need for the Elderly <br />Activities Division as their Elderly Recreation Services: and Special Programs continue to <br />grow while being understaffed. <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call Reid Sewake of Parks & <br />Recreation at 961-8560. <br />6-'-"Oo-4 <br />Deanna S.
