COUNTY OF HAWAII ''�=��� • STATE OF HAWAII <br /> 'FtE'OF•M►'� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 684 20 <br /> RESOLUTION CHANGING THE FUNDING SOURCE OF ONE (1) <br /> ACCOUNT CLERK POSITION <br /> WHEREAS, in 1985, the State of Hawaii, Department of Labor and <br /> Industrial Relations, Workforce Development Division, through a contract with the <br /> Department of Parks & Recreation, provided federal funding for one (1) position <br /> under the Senior Training and Employment Program; <br /> WHEREAS, the federal funding for this one (1) Account Clerk, position <br /> number 00-03208, will cease due to the closure of the Senior Training and <br /> Employment Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, this position is still critical for the Parks & Recreation's <br /> Elderly Activities Division as the Elderly Recreation Services and Special <br /> Programs continue to grow while being understaffed; and <br /> WHEREAS, there should be sufficient funds in the various regular salaries <br /> and wages accounts of the Department of Parks & Recreation for this position; <br /> and <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> that the County will continue to fund the Account Clerk position (Position No. <br /> 00-03208). <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds should be available in the <br /> various regular salaries and wages accounts of the Department of Parks & <br /> Recreation for this position. <br />
