D e t e r m i n a t i o n : <br />S h a l l ( s ) a n d S h o u l d ( s ) N o t S u f f i c i e n t <br />On August 13, 2018 Hawai‘i County Long - Range <br />planners met with Hawai‘i County Planning Division <br />representatives Jeff Darrow and Maija Jackson. <br />L - R determined that the amendments did not adequately: <br />• Resolve concurrency issues <br />• Account for due diligence for resource impact mitigation <br />for road corridors depicted on concurrency road map given <br />a piecemeal development scenario <br />• Address “Actions” that attempted to amend Hawaii County <br />Codes <br />• Address Policies that were inconsistent with, or tried to <br />innovate Hawaii County Codes <br />• Address Policy Amendments that are interrelated to <br />policies in other sections (e.g. Land - Use, Transportation, <br />and Housing Policies) <br /> <br />
