Any other discussion on that? Okay. <br />UNFINISHED The Chair directed the Commission to proceed to the next order of <br />BUSINESS: business, Unfinished Business. <br />CHR. ADAMS: Let's move then on to Unfinished Business, we have <br />Communication No. 3 which is Formation of Ad Hoc Committees. Any <br />discussion with that? Not seeing any, we will move into New Business. <br />NEW BUSINESS: The Chair directed the Commission to proceed to the next order of business, <br />New Business. <br />CHR. ADAMS: Item one is Communication No. 45.2 which transmits Charter <br />Amendment No. 28 for First Reading. I would entertain a motion that would pass <br />Charter Amendment on First Reading. Is there such a motion? <br />MS. GALIMBA: So moved. <br />CHR. ADAMS: Is there a second? <br />(inaudible) <br />CHR. ADAMS: It has been moved by Commissioner Galimba and seconded by <br />Commissioner Rice, that we pass Charter Amendment 28 on First Reading. <br />Discussion? <br />Commissioner Galimba. <br />MS. GALIMBA: So, just let me say that I thank everyone for voting for this last <br />time although I wasn't here and that's a pretty straightforward proposal that is <br />removing language concerning political party on the segment, or sections of the <br />Charter Commission concerning boards and commissions, and also the Charter <br />(inaudible). <br />CHR.
