Nominations and Election of Committee Chair Walters informed the <br />Officers Committee that June is when <br />a. Election of Officers Committee member Susan <br />Shirachi volunteered to be <br />Secretary, but needed to discuss <br />somethings with the Chair before <br />proceeding. <br />Committee member Punihaole <br />and Committee member <br />Nagasawa nominated Linda <br />Gonzales as Chair. <br />Punihaole nominated Penny <br />Alcoran as Vice Chair. <br />The Committee decided Elections <br />will be held at the next meeting. <br />B. Discussion on creating Two Mayor's Sam Nagasawa explained that it <br />Committees on People with Disabilities. would be easier and more feasible <br />West Hawaii and East Hawaii to have 2 Committees one on the <br />East Side and one on the West <br />Side. She also stressed that you <br />spend the whole day travelling if <br />the meeting is held on the other <br />side of the Island.
