One is, you <br />3 <br />know, recognizing that what you do is important for <br />4 <br />this community. So that's very appreciated, you know, <br />5 <br />by many people. <br />6 <br />What I also wanted to do is just make a <br />7 <br />couple of comments. And, actually, it's changes that I <br />8 <br />had looked at for the April 22nd letter that I sent to <br />9 <br />the Salary Commission (SEE ATT. D). The first is <br />10 <br />page 2 of 4 -- towards the bottom. I just wanted to <br />11 <br />give an update on training that the office has done, <br />12 <br />and I wanted to update it to May 16th. <br />13 <br />Our office have a policy of trying to do <br />14 <br />training of at least 5,500 County officials and <br />15 <br />employees only because, you know, it's important that <br />16 <br />we speak to employees to know what their duties and <br />17 <br />responsibilities are. So as of May 16th, our office has <br />18 <br />offered 20 different classes, we have done 43 training <br />19 <br />classes, and we had total, so far, 539 attendees. <br />20 <br />And then, the only other minor change that I <br />21 <br />wanted to make is on page 3, towards the bottom, <br />22 <br />dealing with the litigation item No. 3. I just wanted <br />23 <br />to make a note that 127,972 collection, that's actually <br />24 <br />it's the dollar amount, yeah; so it's $127,972 of <br />25 <br />collections that we have done.
