Leveraging <br />Explain how federal funds leveraged additional resources (private, state and local funds), <br />including a description of how matching requirements were satisfied, as well as how any <br />publicly owned land or property located within the jurisdiction that were used to address the <br />needs identified in the plan. <br />In addition to the CDBG and HOME funding resources, the projects utilized other federal, state, <br />county and private funds to leverage, match and/or supplement the project budget. The <br />matching requirement for the HOME program is a requirement for the State of <br />Hawaii. However, the Counties require that the applicant for HOME funds provide matching <br />funds. (Please refer to the State's CAPER for the Official Matching Report). The matching <br />requirements were satisfied through foregoing taxes, fees and charges. <br />Fiscal Year Summary — HOME Match <br />1. Excess match from prior Federal fiscal year <br />2. Match contributed during current Federal fiscal year <br />3. Total match available for current Federal fiscal year (Line 1 plus Line 2) <br />4.
