Counsel <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mele motioned to approve agenda. Kami seconded. Motion passed. <br />IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES (April 2, 2019) <br />Andrew motioned to approve meeting minutes of April 2, 2019. Mele seconded. <br />Motion passed. <br />ACTION ITEM: To assist in expediting the review of minutes, Chair to request that the <br />CSW receive minutes prior to the next month's meeting. <br />V. TREASURER'S REPORT <br />A. April financials <br />a. Copies of the April financials were not made available to all members prior to <br />the meeting. <br />b. Grant provided Jewel with $4,698 as the updated balance as of May 8, 2019. <br />B. Vote to request funds from CSW for projects <br />a. Motion by Farrah, seconded by Mele to approve the following expenditures <br />for the remainder of this year: <br />i. $700 for mileage <br />ii. $333 for Equal Pay ads <br />iii. $1,935 for Real Women Essay Contest <br />iv. $500 to Friends of the Future as fiscal sponsor for Hawaii Island Wom- <br />en's Leadership Forum to provide activities throughout the year in support <br />of women's empowerment and leadership. <br />v. $1,000 for gift cards (already purchased but not yet reflected in balance) <br />b.
