VII. CORRESPONDENCE <br />Vice Chair, Lee -Ann Heely, has submitted her resignation to the committee. We <br />thank Dr. Heely for her time and service on the CSW. <br />VIII. REPORTS <br />A. Update on our NACW Membership Application for 2019 <br />a. Cyd reported that the 2019 NACW membership fee for Hawaii County CSW <br />was paid directly by Hawaii State CSW to NACW. <br />b. Laney emailed details about the 2018 NACW membership reimbursement that <br />is being processed by the Hawaii State CSW to Hawaii County CSW. The <br />check will be sent to Laney and she will mail over to Lisa. <br />IX. OLD BUSINESS <br />A. Teen Dating Violence <br />a. All members are out of cell phone safety cards. <br />b. This sub -committee will discuss whether to update the cell phone safety cards, <br />create a new one, or do a different type of project. An update will be provided <br />at next month's meeting. <br />ACTION ITEM: Remove "Update on cell phone safety card distribution" from next <br />month's agenda. <br />B. Real Women Essay Contest <br />a. No update on the article since Lee -Ann was the one working on that item. <br />b. No update on partnering with KNKR 96.1 "Women's Voices" Radio Show to <br />showcase Essay Contest Winners. Follow-up with Brooke needed. <br />C. Hawaii Island Women's Leadership Forum <br />a. HIWLF was hosting a screening of the film "Rise of the Wahine: Champions of <br />Title IX" on May 22, 2019, UH Hilo Performing Arts Center at 5:00 PM. This is <br />being rescheduled. <br />D. CSW Brochure <br />a. Reviewed updated draft with additional pictures. Edits were suggested to <br />Mihaela. <br />b. Confirmed that consent was received for use of Essay Contest and HIWLF <br />pictures. <br />c. Mihaela will make additional edits, then send to Lisa to email out to committee <br />before next meeting. <br />E. Family Services Directory <br />a. Farrah picked up 4 boxes of directories from the Prosecuting Attorney's office. <br />b. Cyd, Mihaela and Andy took a handful of directories to have available. <br />c. Deb took the remainder of that box for distribution in North Hawaii. <br />d. Mele took one box for distribution in East Hawaii. <br />e. Kami took one box for distribution in West Hawaii. <br />f. Farrah will hold on to the last box for replenishing supply as the year goes on. <br />g. Mele will create a tracking document and maintain for 2019-2020 distribution. <br />2 <br />
