Mele recommended Farrah to ask County to re -allocate funds of <br />$150 from urgent services and $150 from teen dating violence <br />$300 from miscellaneous to travel and mileage. <br />Jewel motioned to approve financials and Jessie seconded. <br />April 8, 2016 financials were approved as submitted. <br />Action: Mele to adjust financials at future meeting. <br />VI. State CSW Liaison <br />• Cyd was not in attendance and no State CSW update was <br />provided. <br />Action: Farrah to follow up with Cyd for any updates. <br />IX. PROJECTS <br />A. Teen Dating Violence <br />• YWCA website reviewed by CSW members. Mele following up <br />with YWCA. <br />Action: Mele to follow up with YWCA re: Website. <br />B. Proposed Projects for next year <br />• Jewel provided update on proposed projects for teen dating <br />regarding the disc containing information with Roxanne. Farrah <br />recommended splitting funds and allocating $250 to do a teen <br />dating violence PSA working with the WAVE and two younger <br />women who had prior experience who will do the commercial. <br />• Currently holding off to see when most appropriate time to do <br />commercial and also confirm funding available. <br />C. Real Women Essay Contest <br />• First bid for April 2016 resulted in no award due to non- <br />compliance; 2nd bid was canceled because CSW in good faith <br />could not get 95 adults and 15 youth. County decided to pull the <br />bid to be fair to all potential bidders. <br />• CSW went out for a 3rd bid for a date of June 12. Hilton asked if <br />they could provide a bid for June 26t". CSW and County agreed <br />to allow. Bid received. There are no more chances to re -bid in this <br />FY. Hilton is in compliance. CSW has requested the County to <br />award the bid. Numbers are lower: 55 adults and 10-15 youth. <br />2 <br />
