<br /> <br />Page 33 <br />1 <br />for a promotion, or you may have an opportunity to <br />2 <br />request reclassification of your position. <br />3 <br />If you request -- if you apply for a <br />4 <br />promotion and that's somehow denied, you might be able <br />5 <br />to grieve that under the Collective Bargaining <br />6 <br />Agreement. If you request reclassification based upon, <br />7 <br />I think, what you have been arguing about your current <br />8 <br />work and where you are currently classified, that may <br />9 <br />be something that you may be able to file, an internal <br />10 <br />complaint with the Department of Human Resources. And, <br />11 <br />if that internal complaint is denied, then you may be <br />12 <br />able to come back to this Board on the reclassification <br />13 <br />issue, if your request for reclassification is denied, <br />14 <br />but right now, you haven't got there; you're not at <br />15 <br />that point yet. <br />16 <br />All you've got is a request for an audit. If <br />17 <br />they don't comply with your request for an audit -- and <br />18 <br />you may -- you can consult with your union <br />19 <br />representatives about this as well because they may be <br />20 <br />able to help you technically -- but you can request <br />21 <br />reclassification; and that's a decision by the director <br />22 <br />of Department of Human Resources.
