Call To Order <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chair Shelby Nahale-a at 10:01 A.M., in the <br /> Meeting Room, Department of Liquor Control, West Hawaii Civic Center, <br /> 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Building B, 2nd Floor, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. <br /> The following were present and constituted a quorum: <br /> Commissioners: Shelby Nahale-a, Chair <br /> David Greenwell, Vice-Chair <br /> Warren Arakaki, Commissioner <br /> Michael Hughes, Commissioner <br /> Ronald Ibarra, Commissioner <br /> Claude Onizuka, Commissioner <br /> Dawn Raymond, Commissioner <br /> Paula Thomas, Commissioner <br /> Absent and Excused: Allen Salave`a, Commissioner <br /> Stacie Waltjen, Licensing Officer <br /> Others Present: Gerald Takase, Director <br /> Brandon Gonzalez, Administrative Officer <br /> Craig Masuda, Deputy Corporation Counsel <br /> Dorsi Lim, Secretary to the Board & Commission <br /> Nahale-a: Good morning. I would like to call the meeting of the Hawaii County Liquor <br /> Commission to order. As a reminder, please place your cell phones on vibrate or silent. <br /> Just for housekeeping, we are recording the meeting. That's what the microphones are <br /> for. Speak one at a time and clearly so that we can get an accurate recording of the <br /> meeting. The microphones do not amplify your voice, so don't worry about trying to <br /> project into them.
