I am the Office and Operations Manager of <br /> the company. <br /> Nahale-a: Thank you. <br /> Takase: To help the Commission better understand what's going on here, Sushi Shiono <br /> was the original applicant. They were previously going to move their operation from Alii <br /> Sunset Plaza to this new location at Kona Brewers' Block. They had come in, had done <br /> a change of location, so they've already done all of the notice mailings to the public. In the <br /> interim, they decided to keep both locations; they're going to stay at Alii Sunset Plaza, and <br /> they are still planning to open at the Brewers' Block. I believe it was February? <br /> Kawakami: Yes, we are aiming for February or sometime in March. <br /> Takase: We've been working on the application with them, but we had decided that <br /> there was no need to go back out for publication since they just had done it for the <br /> change of location. It's following the same process, but a little different from maybe what <br /> you have seen, so we're bringing it to you as such. Ownership and everything will <br /> remain the same. They are just going to have two locations now. The only other thing <br /> that they had to do in lieu of mailing notification was to publish notice, which they have <br /> already done with the change of location application. <br /> Masuda: So you're changing the name on the change of location application to Izakaya <br /> Shiono? <br /> Takase: Yes, they're just going to do a dba change to Izakaya Shiono; and Sushi Shiono <br /> will stay at the old location. <br /> Masuda: Maruhiro owns both? <br /> Takase: Yes. <br /> DECEMBER 5, 2019-LIQUOR COMMISSION MINUTES 29 <br />
