(b) Number of sets of documents to be submitted with each application: <br /> (1) Two sets for single and two-family dwellings or town houses (R-3 Occupancy); <br /> (2) Two sets for accessory structures; and <br /> (3) Three sets for all other occupancies. <br /> (c) Plans and specifications shall: <br /> (1) Be drawn to scale upon substantial paper that is of sufficient size that the plans <br /> and specifications when in print form, are legible without magnification; <br /> (2) Be of sufficient clarity to indicate the nature and extent of work proposed and <br /> show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of the construction code and <br /> all applicable laws; <br /> (3) Display the following information on the first sheet of each set of plans: <br /> (A) The tax map key number of the job site; <br /> (B) The name and address of the owner as referenced on real property records; <br /> (C) The name and address of the person who prepared the plans; <br /> (D) The following code search information: <br /> (i) The basis of the building design including but not limited to the <br /> following: type of construction; occupancy; basic allowable floor <br /> areas; separation for mixed occupancy; number of occupants, wind <br /> speed(basic, effective), wind exposure, seismic zone, and exposure, <br /> etc. In lieu of detailed specifications, the authority having jurisdiction <br /> may approve references on the plans to a specific section or part of the <br /> construction code or other ordinances or laws; <br /> (ii) Calculations, stress diagrams, and other data sufficient to show the <br /> correctness of the plans, shall be submitted when required by the <br /> authority having jurisdiction; <br /> (iii) All plans other than R-3 and U occupancies shall have on the plans <br /> information of occupancy, type of construction, floor area <br /> computations, allowable area increases, separation wall if used, fire <br /> resistive substitution, fire sprinkler, exits, etc.; <br /> (iv) Code search information for building design; and <br /> (v) Additional forms required in the construction code; and <br /> (E) Floor area computations, including major and accessible floor area, that are <br /> clearly labeled; and <br /> (4) Include a plot plan showing the location of: <br /> (A) The proposed building; <br /> (B) Every existing building and/or structure on the property, including but not <br /> limited to retaining walls, water tanks,pools, etc.; <br /> (C) Distances between buildings; <br /> (D) Setbacks; and <br /> (E) Certified flood zone elevation mark, as applicable. <br /> 28 <br />
