electrician, supervising electrician, or supervising specialty electrician licensed <br /> pursuant to chapter 448E, Hawaii Revised Statutes. <br /> (c) Plumbing work regulated by the construction code, and specifically chapter 517, the <br /> plumbing code, shall be performed only by: <br /> (1) A master plumber or j ourney worker plumber licensed pursuant to chapter 448E, <br /> Hawaii Revised Statutes; or <br /> (2) A home owner for plumbing work on a single-family dwelling which the <br /> homeowner will personally occupy and use exclusively for living purposes, <br /> provided the homeowner is a master plumber or journey worker plumber licensed <br /> pursuant to chapter 448E, Hawaii Revised Statutes. <br /> (d) No person shall allow any other person to do or cause to be done any work under a <br /> permit except individuals employed by the permit holder. <br /> Article 7. Fees. <br /> Section 5-7-1. Permit plan review; general. <br /> (a) A fee shall be assessed for plan reviews. The fee shall be in the amount of twenty <br /> percent of the permit fee, with a minimum fee of$50 and shall accompany the <br /> application,plans, and specifications that are filed for review pursuant to section 5-4-1. <br /> Plan review fees shall be assessed in addition to the permit fee. <br /> (b) No additional plan review fee will be assessed for a second submittal. Plan review fees <br /> for subsequent submittals shall be: $250 for a third submittal; $500 for a fourth <br /> submittal; and $1,000 for each additional submittal. <br /> (c) A fee shall be assessed for plan reviews resulting from revisions of permits that have <br /> already been issued, where a new permit is not required. The fee shall be in the amount <br /> of twenty percent of the original permit fee, or $50, whichever is greater. <br /> 39 <br />
