Section 5-7-2. Plan review fee for pre-approved model plans for residential dwellings. <br /> A plan review fee shall be assessed on model plans for residential dwellings. Each <br /> unique model plan of a residential dwelling shall be subject to a separate fee. These one- <br /> time plan review fees shall be based on the schedule below. <br /> PLAN REVIEW FEE FOR PRE-APPROVED MODEL PLANS <br /> FOR RESIDENTIAL DWELLINGS <br /> Per Unique Design) <br /> Category Fees <br /> A. County of Hawaii, Department of Public Works, Building $150 <br /> Division pre-approved single family dwelling with architect <br /> or structural engineer stamp 900 s.f. - 1,100 s.f. (living area <br /> only with one car or two car carport). <br /> B. County of Hawaii, Department of Public Works, Building $200 <br /> Division pre-approved single-family dwelling with architect <br /> or structural engineer stamp 1,101 s.f. - 1,400 s.f. (living <br /> area only with one car or two car carport). <br /> C. Dwellings over 1,401 s.f. including all single-family model $20 per 100 sq. ft. <br /> homes with no minimum s.f. requirement. (To include all or fraction thereof <br /> enclosed areas under roof.) <br /> Section 5-7-3. Permit. <br /> (a) A fee shall be assessed for each permit. The fee shall be submitted at the time of <br /> permit issuance. A permit shall not be valid until the fees prescribed by law have been <br /> paid, nor shall an amendment to a permit be released until any applicable additional <br /> fee, has been paid. <br /> (b) Fee Schedule. Permit fees shall be based on a schedule of fees applied to a valuation of <br /> average construction costs and shall be imposed in the amounts set out in the following <br /> table: <br /> 40 <br />
