Archaeological/Historical Resources: No commissioned archeological survey of the <br /> site has been made as the developed nature of the property makes new archeological finds <br /> unlikely. Also,no additional land clearing is planned for this project outside what may be <br /> required for wastewater system improvements. The applicant is willing to prepare an <br /> archeological monitoring plan in conjunction with any earthwork required for site <br /> improvements and will implement the standard condition related to inadvertent finds and <br /> discoveries; the State historic Preservation Division (SHPD) Ch. 6E documentation was <br /> submitted to SHPD for review on April 9, 2020; to date no response has been provided. <br /> 19. Cultural Resources: The subject site is not adjacent and/or proximate to the shoreline, as <br /> such, fishing and/or coastal access gathering is not conducted on the parcel. It is not <br /> known if the subject parcel, or immediate area have ever been used for the gathering or <br /> other historic uses by native Hawaiians. However, it would appear every unlikely that the <br /> site would provide resources as it is within a fully developed residential community. The <br /> applicant also states that there are no known archeological features or sites on the subject <br /> parcel. <br /> 20. Public Access: There is no known public access to the mountains or the shoreline that <br /> runs through the property. <br /> 21. Traffic Impacts: The proposed project is located on Ainalako Road, approximately 0.8 <br /> miles from the intersection with Ainaloa Drive. Traffic in this area is generally low and <br /> made up primarily of local residents. The proposed use would generate a slight increase <br /> in traffic to the subject site, however, the increase would be approximately 10 to 20 <br /> visitors per day. This equates to roughly 2 to 3 cars per hour, similar to current residential <br /> levels. Potential adverse impacts will be mitigated using"quiet hours" (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.) <br /> for the facility,during which visitation will generally not be permitted. <br /> PUBLIC UTILITIES AND SERVICES <br /> 22. Access: The subject parcel is accessed via Ainalako Road, which is County owned and <br /> maintained roadway with a 50-foot right-of-way and average pavement width of 20 feet. <br /> _q_ <br />
