In 2006, when a Project District was created for the Palamanui development,the County Council deleted this condition(Ord. No. 06 106)because Makalei Drive had already been constructed as a 50-foot wide right-of-way and Palamanui's Ordinance No. 06 105 required them to construct Road 1 as a mauka-makai collector roadway between Queen Ka`ahumanu Highway and Highway 190.
