<br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING <br />KAILUA VILLAGE DESIGN COMMISSION <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a meeting to be held by the Kailua Village Design <br />Commission of the County of Hawai‘i in accordance with the provision of Section 92-7, <br />Hawai‘i Revised Statutes. <br />Based on the Mayor' s Proclamation regarding COVID- 19, these meetings will be online <br />until further notice. This is to prevent the spread of COVID- 19 and to maintain social <br />distancing. <br /> <br />DATE: November 24, 2020 <br />TIME: 5:15 PM <br />PLACE: Live Stream Meeting- The public will be able to view and listen to the <br />meeting. The applicant, Dale Sweeney, Architect, is requesting design review for the revisions <br />to the proposed Henry Street Hotel that was previously reviewed by the KVDC on <br />February 11, 2020, for proposed revisions by another architect for the project. The <br />proposed project was originally reviewed by the KVDC on September 19, 2017. The <br />new revisions include a changes to the building configuration to allow better vehicle <br />access; improve pedestrian and handicap access; improve the dormer roof design <br />elements; move the HVAC system and eliminate the chimney-like fixtures on the <br />Hawaii County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br /> <br />
