"Septage hauler" means individual or business registered with the State Department of <br />Health to engage in the pumping and hauling of wastewater or wastewater sludge, or both, <br />from a septic tank, cesspool, portable toilet, Type III marine sanitation device, or similar <br />treatment/disposal system or collection system that receives wastewater. <br />"Sewer account holder" means the owner of the property or any other designated <br />person(s) that the owner or landlord of the lot, parcel of land, building, or premises has <br />designated to be billed for the sewer service, including any tenant(s). <br />"Sewer main" means a County owned pipeline designed and operated to collect sewage <br />from private sewer laterals and collection systems for treatment and disposal. <br />parcel. <br />"Shared lateral" means any portion of a private sewer lateral that serves more than one <br />"Tenant(s)" mean person(s) under oral or written contract with the owner or agent to <br />temporarily occupy premises. <br />"WWD" means wastewater division of the department of environmental management. <br />"Wastewater" means any liquid waste, whether treated or not, and whether animal, <br />mineral, or vegetable, including agricultural, industrial, and thermal wastes. <br />"Wastewater sludge" means any solid, semi -solid, or liquid residue removed during <br />treatment of municipal wastewater or domestic sewage. Includes, but is not limited to, solids <br />removed during primary, secondary, or advanced wastewater treatment, scum, portable toilet <br />pumping, Type III marine sanitation device. <br />"Water account holder" means any person(s) designated to be billed by the Department <br />of Water Supply for water service. <br />"Water service" means the delivery of water by the county Department of Water <br />Supply. <br />RULE 17 Public Sewers <br />17-1.
