Role of the Chair and Vice-Chair <br /> The Chair is the Presiding Officer o f the Committee and the Vice Chair is the Presiding Officer in the absence of the Chair. <br /> Duties r " the Chair include but are not limited to : <br /> ■ Work with the Planning Department to create/finalize the agenda; <br /> Facilitate Action Committee meetings; <br /> ■ Maintain order and proper decorum based on Robert's Rules of Order; <br /> Call for votes as needed and announce the results; <br /> ■ Be familiar with all rules of order; <br /> F Represent the Action Committee as directed by the Action Committee or designate a <br /> representative from the membership of the Action Committee. <br />
