She's been a resident of Hawaii for 45 years, lives in <br /> the Ka`u District, has experience ranching and is currently active on the Big Island Resource <br /> Conservation and Development Council, USDA Farm Service Agency Committee and Advisory <br /> Council . She previously held positions on the Ka`u CDP Steering Committee, the Charter <br /> Commission and the Hawaii State Board of Agriculture. There is no date for her confirmation <br /> at Council, but the Mayor just submitted her name to Council at the beginning of the year. <br /> She also mentioned the second nominee is Dennis Lin and he resides in the South Hilo District <br /> and grew up in South Hilo. He serves on multiple Boards and is a member of the Chamber of <br /> Commerce, a graduate of Waiakea High School and UH-Hilo. His experiences range from <br /> Office Management, Legal Assistant, Commercial Banking Analyst, Commercial Banking <br /> Officer, and currently employed by HPM Building Supply as the Program Manager for the Hale <br /> Plus Dynamic Home System. If both individuals are confirmed she mentioned there will be a <br /> full Commission. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, it was moved by Commissioner Aguinaldo and seconded by <br /> Commissioner Au that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was unanimously carried by a <br /> voice vote of all Commissioners in attendance.
