5.5. Parking Permit Cards <br /> 5.5.1. Permittee shall place the parking permit card provided by the <br /> County of Hawaii on the rear view mirror of their vehicle. If there <br /> is no rear view mirror, the parking permit card shall be <br /> conspicuously displayed on the interior windshield or dashboard <br /> area. <br /> 5.5.2. Permittee is responsible for transferring this card from one <br /> registered vehicle to another that is listed on the parking <br /> Application Form. <br /> 5.5.3. During the normal working hours, a parking permit card issued <br /> for a specific assigned parking area cannot be used in another <br /> parking area while the permittee is on duty unless the vehicle is <br /> parking under a temporary permit authorization. <br /> 5.6. Temporary Parking Permits <br /> 5.6.1. A parking stall assignment is not transferable; however, the stall <br /> may be loaned by the permittee to another county employee <br /> during short periods of absences such as sick leave or vacation. <br /> The permittee is responsible for transferring the permit to the <br /> temporary permittee. <br /> 5.6.2. Whenever the permittee's vehicle is temporarily replaced by a <br /> service loaner or by another vehicle due to emergency conditions, <br /> the permittee is responsible for transferring the permit to the <br /> loaner or other vehicle. <br /> 5.6.3. If an employee sustain an injury or illness and needs an <br /> accessible space on a temporary basis, the employee should shall <br /> notify their department's Accommodation Resource Manager who <br /> will inform the Administration Office to arrange such temporary <br /> accommodations. <br /> 5.7. Termination of Parking Stall Assignment <br /> 5.7.1. To terminate a parking stall assignment, the permittee shall <br /> submit a Notice of Termination form at least two weeks prior to the <br /> termination date.
