Parking Control Officer may suspend or revoke the parking assignment <br /> and permit of any permittee or permanently remove the name of any <br /> applicant from any waiting list for violating these regulations. Failure to <br /> pay fines or delinquent payments of parking fines may also result in the <br /> revocation of a parking permit. <br /> 8.4. Appeals <br /> Any person whose parking assignment has been suspended or revoked, <br /> or whose name has been removed, may appeal that decision to the <br /> Director of Public Works within ten days after receiving notice of such <br /> decision. <br /> 9. OTHER RESTRICTIONS <br /> 9.1.Any vehicle parked in an unmarked area or unauthorized stall shall be <br /> cited or towed away at the owner's expense. Fines for each parking <br /> violation shall be in accordance with Chapter 291 C-167 of the Hawai'i <br /> Revised Statues, Summons or Citations of Illegally Parked Vehicles. <br /> 9.2. Specially marked parking stalls may be assigned to council members <br /> and as such, shall be considered designated parking. Every council <br /> member shall follow all applicable rules and regulations of the designated <br /> parking and be responsible for the corresponding fees. <br /> 9.3. Parking privileges may be permanently revoked for violation of these <br /> regulations. <br /> 9.4. All issues not addressed by these regulations shall be the responsibility <br /> of, and shall be resolved by, the Director of Public Works. <br /> 10. EXCEPTIONS <br /> An exception to items listed in these regulations shall be requested in writing. <br /> An exception may be granted only with the written approval of the Director of <br /> Public Works. An exception shall be valid only for the duration of the term of <br /> the Director who granted the exception.
