4. CHARGING STATIONS FOR PLUG-IN ELECTRIC <br /> VEHICLES <br /> 4.1.The County of Hawaii has supported the development of electric vehicles <br /> and the stations required to re-charge their batteries. This is a program to <br /> promote the use of EVs, Plug-in EVs and using alternative energy. <br /> 4.2.Charging stations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. <br /> 4.3.Hours of Operation: 7:45 a.m. —4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. <br /> 4.4. Upon completion of charge or at the County's request, a vehicle using the <br /> charging station must be moved out of the charging stall or as directed. <br /> 4.5.The use of County charging stations is at the users own risk. The County <br /> will not be liable for any theft, property damage, or injury arising from the <br /> use, misuse, or suspected misuse of County charging stations. <br /> 4.6. Violations will be addressed on a case by case basis. Continued abuse <br /> may lead to citations. <br /> 4.7.The procedures regarding access and use of the County parking lot for <br /> County employees remain unchanged. Employee's vehicle must be <br /> moved out of the charging stall as soon as charge is complete (refer to <br /> item 4.4 above). <br /> 4.8.Refer to this regulations booklet.
