G ENERAL W ELFARE § 14-40.1 <br />(b) Any person violating this provision shall be punished, upon conviction, by a fine not <br />exceeding $1,000 or by imprisonment not to exceed ninety days, or both. In addition <br />to the penalties provided herein, the County may recover for damages to its <br />property, the measure of which shall be the cost of repairing, replacing, or <br />rebuilding the property injured or destroyed. <br />(1986, ord 86-99, sec 2.)14-40.1 <br />Article 7. Radio Interference. <br />Section 14-41. Scope of article. <br />This article shall not be held or construed to embrace or cover the regulation of any <br />transmitting, broadcasting or receiving instrument, apparatus or device used or useful <br />in interstate commerce or the operation of which instrument, apparatus or device is <br />licensed or authorized by or under the provisions of any act of the Congress of the <br />United States. <br />(1983 CC, c 14, art 7, sec 14-41.)14-41 <br />Section 14-42. Operation of device causing electrical interference <br />prohibited. <br />(a) No person shall knowingly or wantonly operate or cause to be operated, any <br />machine, device, apparatus or instrument of any kind whatsoever within the <br />County between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., the operation of which shall <br />cause reasonably preventable electrical interference with radio reception within the <br />County. <br />(b) X-ray pictures, examinations or treatments may be made at any time if the <br />machines or apparatus used therefor are properly equipped to avoid all <br />unnecessary or reasonably preventable interference with radio reception and are <br />not negligently operated. <br />(1983 CC, c 14, art 7, sec 14-42.)14-42 <br />Section 14-43. Penalty. <br />Any person violating the provisions of this article shall be deemed guilty of a <br />misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than <br />$100.
