§ 2-12.4 H AWAI‘I C OUNTY C ODE <br />(e) If a report may be late, the director of finance shall submit a written <br />communication to the council with an explanation of the reason for being late <br />before the deadlines in (c) and (d) above. The communication shall be placed on the <br />agenda in the committee charged with financial issues or in the absence of council <br />committees, the communication shall be sent to the council as soon as practicable. <br />(2011, ord 11-37, sec 2.)2-12.4 <br />Section 2-12.5. Temporary positions; notification to the council. <br />(a) The director of human resources shall notify the council about any person employed <br />under a contract for less than ninety days if: <br />(1) The salary is $2,500 or more per month; and <br />(2) The temporary position is unrelated to a state of emergency declaration. <br />(b) A quarterly report shall be submitted and placed on the council committee agenda <br />designated to handle matters of finance. The report shall contain the contractor’s <br />name, the duration of the contract, the cost of the contract, and the service to be <br />performed. <br />(2017, ord 17-42, sec 1.) <br />Section 2-12.6. Annual revenue report. <br />(a) The director of finance shall submit to the council a revenue report on or before <br />January 31 of each year. The revenue report shall cover the period of July 1 <br />through June 30 of the previous fiscal year. The revenue report shall include <br />information from every County agency or department that collects revenue in the <br />form of fees, rates, or charges established by: <br />(1) Administrative rule; <br />(2) Ordinance; or <br />(3) A County board or commission. <br />(b) The revenue report shall include for each entry: account number; agency or <br />department that administers the fee, rate, or charge; type of fee, rate, or charge; <br />date and amount of the most recent adjustment to the fee, rate, or charge; brief <br />description of the revenue; if the fee, rate, or charge is applied on an annual, <br />monthly, or per use basis; and the total amount of revenue collected during the <br />applicable fiscal year. <br />(2019, ord 19-105, sec 1.) 2-12.6 <br />Section 2-12.7.
