IN (0 <br />H. B. NO. <br />1 SECTION 2. The Hawaii Revised Statutes is amended by <br />2 adding a new chapter to be appropriately designated and to read <br />3 as follows: <br />4 "CHAPTER <br />5 WASTE AND LITTER MANAGEMENT <br />6 -1 Definitions. As used in this chapter: <br />7 "Aluminum" means a covered product made of the chemical <br />8 element aluminum that forms a silvery white to dull gray/ <br />9 nonmagnetic metal, <br />10 "Brand" means a name, symbol, word, or mark that identifies <br />11 a product and attributes the product and its components, <br />12 including packaging, to the brand bolder of the product as the <br />13 producer. <br />14 "Brand bolder" means a person who owns or licenses a brand <br />85 or who otherwise has rights to market a product under the brand, <br />16 whether or not the brand trademark is registered. <br />17 "Compoatable" means a covered product that is capable of <br />18 undergoing aerobic biological decomposition that results in the <br />19 material being broken down primarily into carbon dioxide, water, <br />20 inorganic compounds, and biomass. <br />2021-0546 8B HMSO-1 4 <br />
