CR -50 - HOME 91.520(d) <br />Include the results of on-site inspections of affordable rental housing assisted under the <br />program to determine compliance with housing codes and other applicable regulations <br />Please list those projects that should have been inspected on-site this program year based upon <br />the schedule in §92.504(d). Indicate which of these were inspected and a summary of issues <br />that were detected during the inspection. For those that were not inspected, please indicate <br />the reason and how you will remedy the situation. <br />During PY2020, the State of Hawaii's Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDQ <br />conducted desk inspections, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on the following HOME funded rental <br />housing projects: 2020 Kinoole Senior Residences, Ainakea Senior Residences, Hualalai Elderly Phases II <br />and III, Kamuela Senior Housing, Mohouli Heights Senior Neighborhood Phases I and il, and Na Kahua <br />Hale ❑ Ulu Wini. There were no findings. All of the complexes were well maintained and all of the units <br />inspected were in good condition and comply with the Uniform Physical Condition Standards (UPCS). <br />Provide an assessment of the jurisdiction's affirmative marketing actions for HOME units. <br />92.351(b) <br />The County has developed its own Affirmative Marketing Action Plan. The intent of the Affirmative <br />Marketing Action Plan is to comply with the mandate of Section 808(e)(5) of the Fair Housing Act which <br />prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, financing, or other services related to housing. The purpose <br />of the Affirmative Marketing Action Plan is to promote a condition in which individuals of similar income <br />levels in the same housing market area have available to them a like range of choices in housing, <br />regardless of the individual's age, race, color, ancestry/national origin, religion, sex (including sexual <br />stereotypes, and gender identity or expression), sexual orientation, HIV infection, familial status <br />(including hanai relationships and pregnant women), and marital status. The OHCD conducts affirmative <br />marketing through their use of commercial media, community and business contacts, the Equal Housing <br />Opportunity logo slogan and through the display of the Fair Housing Posters. <br />Refer to IDIS reports to describe the amount and use of program income for projects, <br />including the number of projects and owner and tenant characteristics <br />There was no HOME program income received in PY2020. Any program income received would be <br />applied to the Tenant Base Rental Assistance (TBRA) Program. <br />Describe other actions taken to foster and maintain affordable housing. 91.220(k) (STATES <br />ONLY: Including the coordination of Ll HTC with the development of affordable housing). <br />91.320(j) <br />It In PY 2020, the County assisted 54 new tenant families, totaling 197 low income families, with the <br />CAPER <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 09130/2021) <br />27 <br />
