and maintain a residential pumping station at the owner's own expense. Such <br />pumping station shall be privately owned and operated. The owner shall be <br />responsible for acquiring all permits, including proper building permits, for the <br />pumping station. <br />,c) Request for extension of time to connec? <br />(1) To obtain a time extension of the 180 days to connect to an accessible <br />sewer, owners shall file a written request to the director before the <br />expiration of the 180 days. Such request shall contain all of the following: <br />(A) Documentation to support the reason for the extension; <br />(() - <br />B) The amount of additional time required, not to exceed two 2years <br />(C) Identification of the property by tax map key and physical address; <br />(D) Documentation of authority to make such request, if not the owner; <br />and <br />(E) Verification of intent and ability to connect within or by the requested <br />time period. <br />. Connection or disconnection from the public sewer <br />system requires completion and approval of a Permit To Perform Work On The Public Sewe <br />System department form, along with a nonrefundable permit fee of $150. 1 <br />(a) The connection permit may be issued only after a plumbing permit has beein <br />issued by the building division, department of public works. <br />(b) Construction may begin only after the Permit To Perform Work On The Public <br />Sewer System has been approved. <br />i <br />,a) Inspection by the wastewater division is required prior to backfilling. <br />(b) The permittee shall schedule inspections with the wastewater division at least <br />2 business days in advance. <br />fig <br />
