Meet with Department Head <br /> In specific situations called "permitted interactions," the Sunshine Law allows board <br /> members to communicate with one another about board business. These permitted <br /> interactions are not considered "meetings" to which the Sunshine Law's normal <br /> procedures or restrictions apply, so notice, testimony, and minutes are not required. <br /> The eight permitted interactions are summarized on this slide and will each be <br /> discussed, with a focus on the first two, which are most commonly used. <br /> 9 <br />
