Thank you. <br />FUJIKAWA:Let's take a five-minute break. <br />RECESSEDThe Chairman called a short recess at 11:32 a.m. <br />RECONVENEDThe meeting reconvened at 11:37 a.m. <br />FUJIKAWA:Will the meeting of the Planning Commission please come back to order. <br />Staff, you may proceed. <br />HAYASHI:Thank you, Mr. Chair. Are you going to be reading the agenda item or <br />do you want me to do that? <br />FUJIKAWA:I did. I did. <br />HAYASHI:Oh, you did? <br />FUJIKAWA:Yeah. <br />HAYASHI:Oh, I'm sorry. <br />FUJIKAWA:You may go ahead and read it. <br />HAYASHI:Okay. I'll refer to three of the maps on the board. First of all, this would be the <br />overall site map. This is a portion of the map for the City of Hilo. This is Komohana Street <br />running in the Puna direction. This would be Wainuenue Avenue and this would be Kamana <br />Drive. The new Mohouli Extension runs in this general direction up towards `inak and <br />hooking up with Kamana Drive. Ponahawai Street is located in this direction. <br />The subject property is identified in this general configuration on this zoning map. The yellow <br />shaded areas are lands that are currently zoned Single Family Residential, either 7,500 square <br />foot zoning or 10,000 square foot zoning. We also have some 15,000 square foot zoned lands. <br />The pink areas are areas that are currently zoned for Neighborhood Commercial. One of the <br />pink shaded areas is part of the subject property. The brown areas are areas that are <br />designated or zoned for Multiple Residential zoning. We also have some Open zoning, which <br />is the darker green areas, and also the lighter shaded green areas are areas that are currently <br />zoned Agricultural-1 acre. <br />The Applicant is requesting that some of the existing zoned lands -, for the existing zoned <br />lands on the subject property, which consists of Agriculture-1 acre, these light shaded areas, <br />Neighborhood Commercial-40,000 square feet, Single Family Residential-7,500 square foot <br />2 <br /> <br />
