Human Resources <br />10. Updating all relevant documents governing HFD's operations will provide staff with assurance <br />that the administration is leading them by example and not just managing them through crisis. <br /> <br />Deployment <br />11. Managing HFD volunteer companies like an organization with structure, roles, and <br />expectations creates opportunities and engagement that can break the bonds of budget <br />constraints. <br /> <br />Training <br />12. Determining how many hours remain after accounting for sick, vacation, and training, will help <br />HFD plan for what staffing is needed to ensure no interruption in service. <br /> <br />Waste, Fraud, Abuse <br />13. Addressing the improper use of resources at County facilities, will build public trust. <br /> <br />We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the Hawaii Fire Departments unrestricted <br />access to sites, information, personnel, and coordination throughout the audit.
