Hawaii State CSW (HSCSW) liaison report: No report at this time. <br />B. Family Violence Interagency Committee (FVIC): <br />a. Hilo Meeting (as shared by Lisa and Shana): Domestic Violence Training <br />coming up in September, more information is forthcoming and will be <br />distributed. Men of Pa`a provided an in-depth presentation of the work <br />they coordinate in the community to help with reintegration of former <br />inmates back into the community. A Women of Pa`a program is currently <br />in the planning stages. The Prosecuting Attorney's Office and Children's <br />Justice Center (CJC) has job openings. Check in with each respective <br />office. Charlene Iboshi is working on one collective calendar to include all <br />FVIC events to keep people informed on what is taking place in the <br />community. <br />b. Kona Meeting as shared by Christina: CJC Kona also needs workers. DV <br />Awareness Month Vigil Services are being planned -more information <br />forthcoming. Robust discussion around housing for DV Survivors, as <br />there is currently no family shelter. <br />C. Missing Murdered Native Hawaiian Women and Girls (MMNHWG) Task <br />Force: Farrah -Marie shared that the task force continues to review data <br />elements and are in the early stages of discussions around the efficacy of data <br />collection. Next meeting: August 25 @ 12pm. <br />*Chair Gomes needed to leave the meeting. Elena Cabatu convened remainder of the meeting. <br />Vill. NEW BUSINESS: No statements from the public <br />A. Approval to amend by-laws to address the following: <br />a. Staggered terms, Reappointments, New member appointments: The <br />Committee members acknowledged that each has reviewed the revised <br />by-laws. <br />MOTION: Shana motioned to approve the revised by-laws. Rachelle seconded. <br />Committee voted to approve. <br />DISCUSSION: Shana has some recommendations and suggestions related to <br />the revised by-laws. Committee members are encouraged to add items to the <br />agenda for next month's meeting to discuss such recommendations and <br />suggestions, as another revision of the by-laws could result in a lengthy process <br />with time constraints. <br />B. Nomination and election of 2022-2023 CSW officers: Elena shared the <br />following nominations for 2022-2023 CSW officers: <br />Chair: Farrah -Marie Gomes <br />Vice Chair -Elena Cabatu <br />Treasurer -Andrew Langtry <br />Recording Secretary: Lisa Pana <br />Corresponding Secretary: Shana Kukila <br />No other names were added to the slate. <br />MOTION: Andrew motioned to approve the new CSW officers for FY2022-2023. <br />Evelyn seconded. Committee voted to approve. <br />
