OLD BUSINESS: No statements from the public A. Sub -Committee Memberships a. Nomination and Election of Sub -Committee members: No discussion. ACTION ITEM: Farrah to add to next month's agenda to provide new members and others on the Committee the opportunity to join Sub -Committees B. Communications Sub -Committee reports a. Status of Chair and Secretary email accounts: The request for a Chair and Secretary email account through the County was not approved. However, the County is willing to provide one email account, CommitteeStatusWomen@hawaiicounty, which may still require monitoring. MOTION: Shana motioned to approve the committeestatuswomen@hawaiicounty email account. Rachelle seconded. Committee voted to approve. DISCUSSION: Committee discussed the pros and cons of the having the @hawaiicounty email address. A discussion about a gmail account raised additional questions. Suzanna will research this request and get back to the Committee by next meeting. Suzanna is willing to also do a 7-minute best practices presentation on how the Committee can conduct conversations, to also allow the public the opportunity to participate. June featured PRIDE, Father's Day, Summer Wellness Resources 2. July features include, World Day Against Human Trafficking, Healthy Hapai & UHH Resources 3. August will feature: Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence flyers and information The Committee will partner with Councilmember Villegas and Councilmember LeeLoy to host events and activities in West Hawaii c.
