Communications Sub -Committee reports <br />a. Status of Chair and Secretary email accounts <br />i. Presentation — Best Practices <br />Tabled by Chair due to Corporation Counsel's absence. <br />b. Facebook updates <br />Shana requested members to engage with page by following, inviting <br />others to follow, liking and sharing posts, sharing information to post from <br />their own agencies, in order to broaden engagement and improve public <br />awareness. <br />Shana also requested assistance with a survey on Facebook and noted <br />that there is a google spreadsheet that Farrah provided based on the <br />PRIDE Parade booth responses, but no data has been compiled or <br />aggregated. Shana specifically requested for someone else to take this <br />over, particularly those from the research subcommittee. <br />c. Family Services Directory <br />Members said they are handing out directories. <br />d. Distribution log <br />The Chair sent a Google doc for the distribution log. Christina said she <br />could not open it. Elena added that she could not open it, and she asked if <br />someone would help with the data entry who has access to the doc. <br />Shana offered to do it since she has access. <br />ACTION ITEM: Members will send Shana their distribution log entries. <br />F. Outreach Sub -Committee reports <br />a. 2022 Year of the Mother <br />Shana shared updates on video interviews and future activities from July - <br />December, such as the HCC Domestic Violence summit and a <br />Thanksgiving food drive. <br />i. Approval of project rationale <br />Shana said she has to update the rationale as activities have evolved. <br />Shana will work on it and bring it to the September meeting. <br />Committee members were asked to engage with any of the upcoming <br />events that are being planned. <br />
